What is a mailing list?
The mailing lists developed by OusKe.com are perfectly adapted to eBay sellers and are made of different modules.
The idea behind it is very simple:
Thanks to a subscription form that we generate for you and that takes place in your eBay Me page, allow both your existing and potential customers to subscribe to your mailing list thus immediatly know about your new items for sale on eBay.
In the OusKe.com interface, encode your new sales (fast and easy operation, made easier by a little, free utility).
User who registered and marked their interest for certain item categories will then automatically receive an email on your behalf containing the title of the auctions they're interested in, the pictures (if any) linked to these items and a direct link to the related auction pages on eBay.
How does a mailing list work?
It could hardly be easier!
You start by defining your item categories.
Let's pretend you sell mostly books and DVD.
You would then create a main category named "Books" and a second one titled "DVD".
In the main category "Books", you can create as many sub-categories as is necessary to represent the themes you sell, for instance, 'Fiction', 'Cook books', 'Gardening',...
Each sub-category can be described using a comment line. For example, the "Fiction" sub-category could have as comment line 'mystery, thriller, science fiction, romance'. This makes it unnecessary to create too large a number of sub-categories.

Then you would create your subscription form.
It is this form, generated based on the categories you defined, that your customers will use to register for your mailing list.
Select a pre-defined theme for your subscription form or choose its colors yourself and the system will automatically deliver the HTML code that you will place on your eBay Me page (or on your website).

That's all it takes!
All you need to do now is promote your mailing list, for instance by including in all your auctions a link to your Me page that will allow eBay buyers to subscribe to your list.
You can also use the invitation module that will send an email to your past customers and invite them to join your mailing list.
